Tidemill has a large and experienced staff. There are over 60 teaching and support staff. All staff are highly committed to excellent pupil progress and well-being. The staffing structure of the school is designed to provide excellent leadership and management as well as the highest quality teaching and learning.

The leadership structure also provides a strong vision and school strategy, good communication and efficient day-to-day running. It ensures that there is a senior leader available to talk to parents or visitors if required. Teachers are well qualified and innovative in their practice and all classes are supported by highly trained teaching assistants.

We have a range of specialist staff in art, music and physical education who deliver a diverse, broad, balanced and challenging curriculum. These teachers are experts in their subjects and teach lessons as well as provide extra-curricular activities. We also have a range of staff to help children requiring additional support. This might be in the area of special educational needs or provision for more able pupils. The school offers many extended services to parents supported by school staff such as our Family Liaison Officer.
